The annual GOAL UK Winter Drinks evening kicked off the London party season in style, with a night of fun and entertainment in the West End.

This year’s event was a fitting celebration of GOAL’s 35th anniversary. There was a fabulous atmosphere and plenty to keep the guests absorbed at the stylish cocktail bar, Après.

The night included live music from innovative guitarist, Daryl Kellie, and comedy from improvisation act, Modern Jesters, with up-and-coming talent, Johnny Lucas, in support.

Valuable funds were raised for GOAL’s work in the developing world, and the evening provided an opportunity for supporters to mingle and meet with GOAL staff from Dublin and London, as well as GOALies who had recently returned from the field.

The GOAL Drinks evening is primarily to thank our donors for their help and generosity throughout the year.

As we look forward to what will hopefully be another exceptional year for GOAL UK, we would like to thank everybody for their invaluable support they give to our work in serving the poorest of the poor.

A huge thank you to our entertainment partner Success Express Music, for helping organise the event, and to Sarah Metcalf who took photographs.
