It’s the final call for tickets for the GOAL UK Ball, which takes place on Saturday, June 21 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge.
The Ball is the biggest fundraiser in the GOAL UK calendar, and attracts hundreds of people each year from around the world. This year you can join celebrity chef Rachel Allen, BBC presenter Maggie Doyle (MC) and rugby stars Ian Humphreys (Ulster) and Eamonn Sheridan (London Irish RFC) as we hope to raise funds and awareness for our work with the poorest and most vulnerable in the developing world.
Tickets start from just £150 and include a drinks reception, three-course meal with wine, dancing to 10-piece showband “Sono”; live/silent auctions and a casino.
The UN is predicting that an imminent famine resulting from the ongoing conflict in South Sudan could cost the lives of upwards of 50,000 children under the age of five before the end of 2014.
As well as our operations on the ground in South Sudan, GOAL is delivering nutrition and medical care to 50,000 refugees in the recently established Kule camp in the Gambella region of Ethiopia.
